Why is natural gas important
Natural gas is important because we might freeze to death if we didn't have natural gas heaters installed in our houses. Also, how could we heat stuff up if we didn't have natural gas stoves and barbecues? If there was no such thing as natural gas, some people wouldn't be able to find a job since there would be no gas fields for them to work at (and no job means they will not get paid and might become poor)!
In addition, there wouldn't be as many communities because lots of communities form around natural gas fields. This is how a community forms: 1) some communities start near where natural gas fields are; 2) people come to find work; 3) workers need homes so houses are built; 4) workers need services so banks, schools, stores, hospitals and libraries are built; 5) more workers such as doctors, builders, teachers, and store clerks come; 6) the workers settle, start families, and need more homes and services; and 7) communities grow larger. We might even die if there was no such thing as natural gas!
